Welcome to St. Michael the Archangel Catholic Mission Church in Centre, Alabama.

We are delighted to have you join us at St. Michael’s in Cherokee County, Alabama. We are a mission church with Mass celebrated each Sunday at 5:00 p.m.

Father Rick Chenault from Our Lady of the Valley in Fort Payne and Father Thomas from St. Charles in Jacksonville serve our Mission.

We are located at 165 Plaza Drive in Centre, AL, behind Jack’s fast-food restaurant.

Cherokee County is known as the Crappie Capital of the World with Weiss Lake being a major attraction for the county. We at St. Michael’s know the concept of fishing, are leaving our nets and following Jesus in gaining souls for His Kingdom.

Now as Jesus was walking by the Sea of Galilee, He saw two brothers, Simon, who was called Peter, and his brother Andrew, casting a net into the sea; for they were fishermen. And He said to them, “Follow Me, and I will make you fishers of people.” Immediately they left their nets and followed Him. Matthew 4:18-20

Join us at St. Michael’s and become a fisher of men!

Hi. My name is Janet. I am suffering from severe depression. I am on medication but it is not helping I feel my best friend has given up and I am estranged from my sister. Could you please pray for me. I am barely getting out of bed and not eating much. I have been praying. Thank you so much and bless you
